Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in Kentucky (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.
• Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning.
• Provide consultation and clinical guidance to staff regarding psychiatric care and behavioral interventions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and policies.
