Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide direct patient care including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and emergency services for individuals with mental health and addiction needs. The role includes staff training, program evaluation, and engagement in community behavioral health education.

Responsibilities include case management, collaboration with supervisors, and participation in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Residency in psychiatry must be completed and board certification or eligibility demonstrated.
• Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state is required.
• Experience in psychiatry and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with mental health and/or addiction concerns.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.
• Carry a caseload in collaboration with supervisory staff.
• Participate in emergency services to provide rapid aid during emotional crises.
• Ensure follow-up care for all clients.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and staff development activities.
