Psychiatrist - Consult Liaison: Academic
The University of Minnesota’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Board Certified / Board-eligible psychiatrist for an Academic Track faculty Psychiatry Consult Liaison position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The position includes:
This role involves collaborating with licensed mental health professionals and psychiatrists to provide in-person and virtual psychiatric consultations across various medical specialties within a hospital setting. The faculty member may be based at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and provide telemedicine coverage for other hospitals in the M Health Fairview system. Typical caseload involves seeing 6 to 8 patients per day, working with a team of providers, and coordinating coverage schedules.
The position is jointly employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Salary ranges from $224,256 to $310,002, depending on experience and academic effort.
