Department of Behavioral Health at Northwell Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist for Mather Hospital. The ideal candidate should be committed to evidence-based care, energetic, innovative, and enjoy a collaborative, team-based approach.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Adult Partial Hospital Program team at Mather Hospital. The program provides outpatient behavioral health treatment to stabilize acute symptoms of mental illness in adults. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, overseeing interdisciplinary treatment plans, medication management, discharge planning, and supervising ACP staff as needed.
Mather Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is an accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital. It offers inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents and adults, including the only adolescent psychiatric unit and partial hospitalization program in Suffolk County.
