Tulane University seeks a Staff Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to students in New Orleans. The role includes evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and short- or group-therapy within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
The successful candidate will contribute to outreach activities and uphold Tulane's commitment to high-quality mental health services for students. Doctorate in Psychiatry and active Louisiana license are required.
The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for delivering mental health treatment to Tulane students. The individual in this role conducts psychiatric evaluations and provides clinical services. These may include medication management, crisis intervention, short-term individual therapy, group therapy and workshops, and outreach activities, along with collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff in maintaining a consistently high standard of care.
