Salary and Benefits

• 100% remote
• The pay range for this position is based on experience ($220,000/year)

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication.
• Offer cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities, as appropriate for patient needs.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor treatment progress.
• Facilitate referrals for patients requiring additional support services, including substance abuse treatment, housing assistance, and social services.
• Keep up to date with new treatments, best practices, and evidence-based interventions to improve patient care.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and compliance with FQHC policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in Psychiatry.
• Valid Florida Medical License.
• Completion of an approved residency program in Psychiatry.
• Experience with the Patient-Centered Medical Home model preferred.
• Completion of a qualified residency program or demonstration of a reasonable patient care volume within the past 12 months.
