Qualifications

• MD, board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Massachusetts licensed physician.
• Must be a child and adolescent trained psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse mental health clinical specialist.
• Clinical experience with adolescents, adults and families; trauma-informed approach preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license; travel between sites required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Be present on-site for one or more days each month, and available for virtual meetings during weeks when not physically present.
• Examine clinical documentation and assist with clinical formulation, care and treatment planning, and risk management.
• Provide training and consultation to CSA staff and programs concerning medication and health.
• Participate in High-Risk Reviews and crisis planning as needed.

JRI’s Community Service Agencies are committed to delivering comprehensive wraparound services for youth under 21 who are diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance. These services cater to those who need multiple forms of support or are engaged with various child-serving systems, including child welfare, special education, or juvenile justice.

Compensation (Consultant Fee Range)

The pay range for this position is $125.00 to $180.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

In this position, you will:

• Be present on-site for one or more days each month, and available for virtual meetings during weeks when not physically present. The primary work locations correspond to the CFFS CSA (Community Service Agency) sites in Lawrence and Beverly, MA.
• Examine clinical documentation and assist with clinical formulation, care and treatment planning, as well as risk management.
• Provide training and consultation to Community Services Agency staff and programs concerning medication and health.
• Participate as necessary in High-Risk Reviews and crisis planning.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  Massachusetts Licensed Physician.
• Must be a Child and Adolescent trained Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Mental Health Clinical Specialist.
• Must have clinical experience working with adolescents, adults and families required; familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, travel between locations is required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
