TelepsychHealth is a physician-owned, independent organization offering evidence-based psychiatric and psychological services in the Jacksonville, FL area, and across other states virtually. We strive for the highest standards of care, integrating evidence-based clinical approaches with practical experiences in an empathic, trusting, and collaborative environment.

Our mission is to set a new standard in providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary, integrated care. We provide all psychotherapy and medication management at one convenient location. While we do see SUD clients, the majority are general psychiatry. Psychiatrists will work closely with therapists in delivering care. We are looking for committed individuals dedicated to TelepsychHealth’s mission.

We at TelepsychHealth are looking for a personable, energetic, motivated psychiatrist who is interested in coming on board to a private practice with a team to provide services to individuals who preferably has experience in addiction medicine/psychiatry. This is a hybrid telepsych/in person position. The virtual patients will be located in their own homes during the appointments. Given our providers’ backgrounds in addiction psychiatry, we do have more SUD clients than an average practice would, but we are not exclusively an addiction practice. Our most common diagnoses are anxiety, insomnia and depression.

Competitive W2 base salary plus bonus structure

Ability to practice psychiatry autonomously, such as determining frequency and duration of patients’ appointments; taking on therapy cases; and writing progress notes for good clinical practices.

Full administrative support for all administrative matters such as scheduling, pharmacies requests, drafting letters, prior authorizations, responding to patients’ messages regarding administrative concerns, etc.

Regular supervision for the first year with Bruce Bassi, M.D.

Weekly clinical staff meetings, case conferences, and journal club

State licensure, DEA certificate, and professional liability insurance (malpractice) covered

Annual educational/discretionary expenses each year

One hundred twenty (120) hours of paid time off (PTO) accrued per year, which may be used for sick leave or personal time off. PTO will accrue and carry over up to a maximum of 180 hours per year.

Virtual psychiatrist position unless you live in Jacksonville, where you could see patients in person.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address mental health needs of adults and their families

100% outpatient with no weekends

Participate in effective case collaboration and monthly peer supervision

Carry out medication management and psychotherapy services in accordance to state and national regulations, maintain the schedule of all active clients, complete timely appointment notes that comply with insurance contracts, and operate technology (such as computer, software, EHR).

Position Requirements

Applicants must be ABPN board certified or eligible.

Active medical licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida, valid NPI and DEA certificate, in good standing and no prior disciplinary action.

Willing to consent to a background check.

Maintain and update pertinent clinical records and write progress notes in a timely manner
