Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC seeks a Psychiatrist for inpatient, adult and geriatric care within Lifepoint Health. You will join a multidisciplinary team and have access to resources for comprehensive patient care.

The compensation package can include a base/production bonus, sign-on, relocation assistance, PTO, retirement plan, health benefits, student loan support, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and practice growth support.

Qualifications

• Inpatient psychiatry for adults 18+ and seniors 55+
• Multi-disciplinary care team with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, nurses
• Geriatric fellowship preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment
• Engage in evidence-based group therapy and activity rooms
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and support staff to coordinate care

Position Details:

Adults ages 18+ and seniors ages 55+

• Inpatient only practice

• 16 beds per each age demographic, 32 total

• Geriatric fellowship and experience would be preferred but not required

• Traditional and blocked flexible schedule availability per candidate (i.e. visa sponsorship requirements)

• Psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, nurses and support staff with a multi-disciplinary approach to care

• Evidence-based group therapy and activity rooms

• Full time and part time providers will be considered
