Located on 14 acres in Western Pennsylvania, Clarion Psychiatric Center’s secure, serene facility serves patients ages 10 and older in a positive, affirming therapeutic environment. Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Psychiatrist to join our team on a full‑time basis. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with mental health conditions. This role requires a collaborative, patient‑centered provider who is committed to delivering high‑quality behavioral health care in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow‑up care
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
• Respond to urgent psychiatric concerns as clinically appropriate
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management

Schedule

• Full‑time schedule: Monday–Friday / Weekend rotation
• Standard hours: e.g., 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• On‑call responsibilities: Yes
