Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed, board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to provide clinical supervision for a team of psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) and licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), while also maintaining a panel of patients for direct psychiatric care. This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

• Provide structured clinical supervision for PMHNPs and/or LCSWs to support compliance with Arkansas, Kentucky, and Mississippi state regulations.
• Participate in scheduled supervision sessions, case consultations, and chart reviews.
• Support quality improvement efforts and provider development.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, and provide ongoing medication management.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners on co-management of patients when Schedule II medications are prescribed, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, evidence-based treatment.
• Provide care primarily via telehealth with potential for occasional in-person consultations if needed.

Leadership & Oversight

• Serve as a medical leader across assigned partnerships in AR, KY, MS.
• Provide consultative support on complex cases.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Arkansas.
• DEA certification and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
• Experience supervising PMHNPs and/or LCSWs preferred.
• Location: Remote, AR license required
