Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring and Support: Observe and assist patients in managing their daily functioning and mental health symptoms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Therapeutic Environment: Create and maintain a therapeutic and healing environment that prioritizes the best patient experience and care. Psychoeducational Groups: Plan and facilitate engaging psychoeducational groups, empowering patients with knowledge and skills for their recovery. Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner to ensure accurate patient records and care continuity. Crisis Management: Utilize effective de-escalation techniques and therapeutic approaches to manage the milieu, focusing on reducing the use of restraint and seclusion whenever possible. Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team under the direct supervision of the RN, performing tasks delegated by the RN and collaborating to ensure safe patient care. Qualifications Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field preferred. Proficient in multitasking, time management, and prioritization. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Knowledge: Familiarity with Joint Commission standards for restraint and seclusion use. Professionalism: Display a consistent professional attitude and commitment to confidentiality, while being open to new ideas and approaches. Adaptability: Ability to smoothly transition between diverse tasks and make timely decisions in stressful circumstances.
