Position Overview: One of our clients is seeking Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and Psychiatric Technicians to service patients with addictions, mental & behavioral health issues in the Norristown area.

Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity
  • This position includes rounds, vitals, meeting with clients, treatment interventions, goal setting, counseling, and documentation.
Client's Available Hours
  • First shift (7am-3pm), Second shift (3pm-11:30pm), & Third shift (overnights from 11pm - 7:30am)
  • Long-term independent contracts, full schedules or part-time options available.
Required Experience & Education
  • Associate degree or higher, highly preferred, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of mental health experience.
  • Great opportunity for nursing students who have completed at least one semester of clinical rotation.
  • At least one year of experience with drug/alcohol or psychiatric patients is required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Compassionate understanding and treatment of individuals with addictions and/or mental health issues.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and handle multiple priorities.
  • Must pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Must complete FIT testing.
