Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Psychiatric Technician for our Behavioral Health Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Psychiatric Technician, you will:

1. Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
2. Monitors therapeutic treatment.
3. Recognizes and values differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
4. Collaborates with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
5. Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care.
6. Uses information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.

Qualifications include:

1. Minimum of 2 years in related field.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
4. Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.

Work Schedule:

Day shift: 6:45am-7:15pm, 4 shifts per 4-week scheduling period requirement. 2 must be weekday and 2 must be weekend shifts. Assigned holiday rotation. Availability to pickup additional shifts outside of minimum requirement!

Pay Range: $18.71 - $25.65

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
