Job summary

Spring Harbor Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Psychiatric Technician II to help maintain a safe, therapeutic setting and support individualized treatment plans. You will work with the treatment team to care for patients and provide emotional support, while helping collect and document data.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days), CPI/MOAB training within 60 days, and six months of Behavioral Health clinical support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start.
• CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Six months of Behavioral Health clinical support experience or completion of MaineHealth Psychiatric Technician Apprentice program.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Psychiatric Technician II role is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic setting and implementing individualized treatment plans in cooperation with treatment team members by providing care and emotional support to patients and assisting with the collection and documentation of data.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
2. License/Certifications: Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start. Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
3. Experience: Six (6)+ months of experience in a Clinical Support role in a Behavioral Health setting or successful completion of the MaineHealth Psychiatric Technician Apprentice program.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
