MaineHealth's Spring Harbor Hospital in Maine is seeking a Psychiatric Technician I to help maintain a safe, therapeutic setting and assist with implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.

Summary:
The Psychiatric Technician I role is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic setting and implementing individualized treatment plans in cooperation with treatment team members by providing care and emotional support to patients and assisting with the collection and documentation of data.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
  2. License/Certifications: Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start. Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
  3. Experience: Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
