The role requires a Bachelor's in psychology or related field, at least one year of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license, with OMHSAS clearances and basic certifications often required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related human service field.
• Minimum one year experience in a related field with knowledge of severe mental illness.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• All OMHSAS clearances and client-specific certifications may be required (BLS, TB test, immunizations).
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead psycho-educational groups to foster peer interaction, problem-solving, and treatment goal achievement.
• Assist residents in building life skills for independent living.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow reporting requirements.
• Support residents with household tasks and essential daily living skills.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
