Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Florida RN license (BLS) required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• CPR certification and restraints training within 30 days of employment; understanding of TJC, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process across all patient populations (adolescent to adult) in psychiatric care.
• Provide high quality patient care, prioritize workload, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within a team to restrain aggressive patients safely and effectively, with documentation and reporting.
