Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in psychiatric nursing, or two years med/surg with leadership.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under physician guidance.
• Conduct safety checks and apply behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor, report and document patient behaviors and overall wellbeing.
• Administer medications and perform treatments under the treatment team guidance.
