Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Community Reach Center is an essential member of the Acute Treatment Unit, Stages. You will conduct admission reviews, physical assessments, treatment, and support services to consumers and families, including planning, implementation, and documentation.

The RN ensures safety and comfort in the therapeutic environment while complying with CRC policies. Responsibilities include coordinating care with the treatment team, reviewing referrals, monitoring labs, and

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a Colorado RN license.
• Prefer 1 year psychiatric nursing experience.
• Communication, organization, time management and clinical skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Timely review of medical eligibility of all referrals.
• Works with on-unit provider to ensure medications and physical health needs are met.
• Assesses client needs, develops solutions, and implements interventions.
• Draws indicated labs and preps them for pickup.
• Provides case management and clinical interventions as appropriate.
• Observes and records client condition and notifies treatment team of changes.
• Aids in crisis intervention and notifies appropriate teams or 911 as needed.
• Educates clients and families about health, medications, or psychiatric illness.
