Acadia Healthcare's StoneCrest Center East in Mt. Clemens is seeking a Registered Nurse for psychiatric care. You will assess and address patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop care plans, and educate families.

Expect unit leadership and coordination of nursing activities on three 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation. Requirements include RN licensure in Michigan, CPR, and 1 year in nursing; psychiatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license or be eligible to practice in the state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/mental health is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Ensure orders are legible and transcribed per policy.
• Assess patient status continuously and document changes.
• Notify physicians of significant status changes and emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing promptly and accurately.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
