*We offer a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for new hire Staff Nurses on night shifts only. The first half is paid at 6 months, and the second half at one year of employment.*
Provides direct patient care based on ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies, procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care, including discharge planning.
Coordinates psychiatric and medical emergencies to ensure proper care for individuals in crisis and safety for all patients.
Acts as an active team member by assisting staff and accepting additional responsibilities to ensure essential patient care and unit operations.
Administers medications with knowledge of their action, administration, side effects, and contraindications.
Assumes the role of Charge Nurse during the shift.
