Kingsboro Psychiatric Center in Brooklyn, NY is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting. The center welcomes RNs with strong clinical judgment and a commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, correctional, emergency, or medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide nursing interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support patient wellness, safety, and recovery goals.
• Adhere to facility policies, infection-control standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
• Participate in patient care planning and implementation.
