Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing duties for the assigned unit or department. Plan, provide, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care based on our patient care philosophy. Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the nursing process and primary nursing principles, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies. Collaborate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain good relations with other departments and units, and participate in all educational activities.

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years of bedside psychiatric experience
• Associate's degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Handle with Care Certification or CPI preferred within 90 days of hire
• ACLS preferred

Licenses

Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or a multi-state/compact RN license.
