Job summary

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric and medical care for adolescents and adults on a day shift.

Full-time, 3 twelve-hour shifts (7am–7:30pm) with weekend rotation; external candidates receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Michigan.
• Previous psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete nurse-to-nurse assessments with other facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Assess, plan, and deliver care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• Continuously assess and reassess the patient’s medical and psychiatric status.
• Participate with the team in planning and implementing the treatment plan.
• Work with both adolescent and adult populations.

Description

• Complete nurse to nurse assessment with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• The nurse continually assesses and reassesses the patient's medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
• Participates with other team members in planning and implementing the patient's treatment plan.
• Works with both adult and adolescent population.

Hours

Full Time, 3 12-hour shifts per week, 7am to 7:30pm for day shift, including an every other weekend rotation.
