Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) in Richmond, IN for a contract-full-time position. The role requires a current RN license in-state and preferred psych experience with PMH-BC certification. Pay is $55 per hour with a 37.50 hour work week.

Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, applying clinical judgment, and coordinating patient care across settings. Benefits are offered per policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in-state.
• Minimum 1 year psych/mental health nursing experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• CPR certification required if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
