Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for travel assignments in Kentucky. The PMH RN will apply wide-ranging nursing and psychosocial expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders, while coordinating patient care with sound clinical judgment.

The role requires an active RN license in-state, CPR where applicable, and adherence to federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in-state practicing.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMH nursing care across diverse settings.
• Assess, diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders.
• Coordinate patient care with critical thinking and clinical judgment.

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable.

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
