Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Sylmar, CA. The role requires current RN licensure and preferably 1 year of psych experience, with PMH-BC preferred.

You'll work 36 hours per week in a healthcare facility setting and receive weekly pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will meet all regulatory requirements, maintain CPR if applicable, and comply with applicable health and safety standards while delivering high-quality mental

Location: Sylmar, CA

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

• One year of psych experience preferred

• PMH-BC certification preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
