Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract full-time position in Fairfax, VA. The role requires RN licensure and psychiatric nursing experience; PMH-BC certification preferred.

Pay is $52 per hour with a 40-hour week, per diem benefits, and compliance with applicable standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in coordinating care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in-state practicing.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
