Job summary

MindCare Solutions in West Plains, MO is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our psychiatric care team. The role includes rounding in a hospital, ED/IP consults, and outpatient medication management to ensure continuity of care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a relocation stipend available up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Missouri PA license required.
• Collaborative practice arrangement with Missouri-licensed physician.
• Prescriptive authority for controlled substances per DEA/state.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Manage medication management and therapy options in collaboration with the team.
• Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as needed.
• Perform daily rounds in designated hospital units.
• Respond to ED and IP consult requests with timely recommendations.
• Document all assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
