Job summary

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to work in the Medical Department at Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville, PA. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with an hourly rate of $45.00.

The RN will oversee clinical monitoring and coordination of the mental health program, serving as a liaison between the medical unit and external psychiatric services while ensuring NCCHC/ACA standards are met.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Clinical decision-making ability is required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to function independently and demonstrate clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate mental health care per NCCHC/ACA standards and PCM policies.
• Serve as mental health liaison between medical unit, facility staff, and external psychiatry/psychology services.

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Registered Nurse (RN) to work as the Psychiatric Nurse in the Medical Department at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility located in Eagleville, PA.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Hourly rate: $45.00.

Job Responsibilities:

The Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordinating, and implementing of the mental health program in accordance with NCCHC/ACA Standards and PCM policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the PCM mental health liaison between the medical unit, facility staff, and psychiatric/psychological services outside the facility.
• Facilitates admission and placement of inmates/patients in forensic and community Mental Health facilities.
• Monitors all psychiatric/psychological services provided.
• Monitor the standards of care in accordance with NCCHC and accepted psychiatric/ psychological standards.
• Is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Develops and conducts in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar.
