Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed – Quincy, MA
Excellent part-time or full-time opportunity for psychiatric nurse practitioners in Quincy, MA. We are seeking nurse practitioners to work with our physicians helping patients addicted to pain medications and opioids by treating them with Suboxone (Buprenorphine). The clinic is conveniently located in a medical building in Quincy, and the program is in total compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
The practitioner will provide psychiatric disability and co-occurring disorders treatment to patients in an adult outpatient addiction medicine program. They will be involved in direct patient care, including evaluations and follow-up treatment. The provider will also participate in consultations with primary care providers and other behavioral health clinicians co-located on the medical team.
Candidates should have experience with outpatient and after-care of mental health patients, addiction medicine/substance abuse, and specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects, both alone and in combination with other medications.
Schedule is 8-32 hours per week, flexible with days and hours, and can be split according to your availability. (Create your own schedule)
