The Role

You will carry an independent general adult outpatient psychiatry caseload, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management via in-person and telehealth appointments. You’ll work collaboratively with our therapy staff and maintain timely, thorough documentation.

This is not a supervised or transitional role. We are looking for a clinician who is ready to practice with full autonomy and wants to build a stable, values-aligned panel.

• Licensed PMHNP with active NH licensure (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration, current or eligible
• Comfortable working with adults across a range of presentations — mood, anxiety, ADHD, trauma
• Culturally humble and affirming with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent patients
• Self-directed, organized, and committed to documentation timeliness

2+ years of PMHNP clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong psychiatric background considered

Compensation is W-2 and commission-based. Full-time PMHNPs at Balance Mental Health have earned between $150,000 and $200,000 based on actual 2025-2026 collections data. That range reflects differences in weekly client volume and billing patterns, including whether appointments combine med management with a therapy add-on.
