Job summary

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff. Candidates must hold WV APRN licensure with PMHNP-BC and prescriptive authority where eligible.

Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills are essential. This is a full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

• Licensed in West Virginia as an APRN with PMHNP-BC.
• Prescriptive authority through WV Board if eligible.
• Active WV RN license or recognition by WV Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Facilitate patient education and engagement in self-care.
• Complete documentation promptly according to policy.
• Collaborate with other medical and behavioral health providers.
• Attend clinical and staff meetings.
• Participate in research, education, or training if interested.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
