Job summary

Access: Supports for Living in New Rochelle, NY seeks a Nurse Practitioner to manage medical and psychiatric interventions in a MAT program on a temporary per diem basis. The role covers methadone maintenance and induction protocols for adults with substance use disorders.

The position requires a licensed Psychiatric NP, 3+ years in adult mental health, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Per diem, 5 hours/day, 2 days weekly, at $100/hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with OMH credentials.
• 3+ years of experience as an NPP in adult mental health.
• Excellent documentation and compliance with OMH policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess participants using the Clinical Component.
• Provide medical services including med assessments, labs, prescriptions.
• Coordinate with primary care physicians and specialists; crisis management.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Educate individuals, families and staff.

545 am to 145 pm

Rate of Pay: $100

Substance Use Experience a Must

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry for temp per diem role in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program. In this role you will manage medical and psychiatric interventions for individuals with opioid and other substance use disorders, overseeing methadone maintenance and induction protocols.

Overview Of Primary Responsibilites

• Assess participants utilizing the Clinical Component,
• Provide medical services (medication assessment, lab work, prescriptions, etc.)
• Coordinate and collaborate with medical providers (primary care physicians, specialists, etc.), crisis assessment and management (behavioral and medical)
• Complete all required documentation
• Provide education to individuals, their families and other service providers, as well as to staff.

Qualifications And Attributes

• Nurse Practitioner License
• Experience with adults in Mental Health field
• Available to work a flexible schedule a MUST
• Responsible for all documentation requirements per OMH regulations and agency policy
• 3 plus years of experience as an NPP
