Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient & Office Based - Manhattan

Our experienced Search Consultants utilize advanced technology and personalized screening to facilitate successful placements across various medical specialties, including Family Practitioners, OB/Gyns, Hospitalists, and mental health professionals such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, and BCBA.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a well-respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and medical conditions.

The position involves working Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. The schedule includes two days per week in the field with an ACT team and three days in the office providing clinical services to clients with complex needs, including histories of hospitalization, non-compliance, and homelessness.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting psychiatric assessments and evaluations
  2. Prescribing, monitoring, and administering psychotropic medications
  3. Providing crisis intervention services
  4. Participating in team meetings, clinical case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
  5. Completing clinical documentation via Electronic Health Records and administrative paperwork
