Job summary

Lavender is hiring Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for tele-psychiatry visits with clients based in Oregon. Roles offer flexible scheduling (min 16 hours/week) and a 1099 compensation model, with remote work across the United States.

Candidates should hold an Oregon NP license, ANCC board certification, and 2+ years in adult mental health. We provide mentorship, ongoing education, and robust EHR/e-prescribe support.

Qualifications

• MSN required and active Oregon NP license.
• ANCC Board Certification preferred/required.
• 2+ years of experience in adult mental health.
• Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills.
• Must have own computer and a private space for telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans including medication, therapy, or both.
• Follow up monthly to assess efficacy and adjust care as needed.
• Provide modalities of talk therapy in addition to medication management.
• Collaborate with an expert team and support mentorship programs.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in Oregon. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We offer a competitive 1099 compensation model and a supportive work environment that offers mentorship and training. You can build your own schedule within our operating hours, which are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. We require a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week

The Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments, you have to be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.

The Candidate

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Oregon Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
• Strong assessment skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
