Job summary

Lavender is seeking both part-time and full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele-psychiatric visits for New Hampshire clients. Work remotely with flexible self-scheduling, mentorship, and training within a 8 a.m.–8 p.m. schedule, seven days a week.

Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week and a 1099 compensation model. Candidates must have MSN, NH NP license, ANCC certification, and active NH DEA, plus 2+ years in adult mental health.

Qualifications

• MSN required and NH NP license active.
• ANCC board certification required.
• 2+ years in adult mental health.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Own computer and quiet professional space to conduct tele-psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans for medication, therapy, or both.
• Follow up monthly to assess efficacy and adjust care as needed.
• Provide talk therapy modalities as part of integrated care.

The Responsibilities:

Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow up with clients at a minimum on a monthly basis to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefers nurse-founded combined medication and therapy appointments; you have to be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.

The Candidate:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active New Hampshire Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
• Strong assessment skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
