Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site psychiatric evaluations and medications management for adults at our Facility Based Crisis Center. This 24/7/365 center supports acute crisis stabilization, and you will join a team delivering rapid assessments and follow-up care with limited supervision.

The role requires licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, national ANCC certification, and experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Must be certified at the national level by the ANCC as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in behavioral health care preferred.
• Pre-employment screening including background checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
• Manage medications for adults.
• Participate in regulated supervision.

Duties include initial Psychiatric Evaluation of client and subsequent follow up visits for medication evaluation and management.The Facility Based Crisis (FBC) Center is a community-based facility that serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization when appropriate. The FBC is a facility operating 24/7/365 for adults aged 18 and over experiencing behavioral, emotional, psychological, detox, or other acute crisis stabilization needs. The FBC provides short-term intensive evaluation, treatment intervention or behavioral management to stabilize acute or crisis situations:Assessment and evaluationIntensive treatment and stabilizationLinkage to services that will provide further treatment or rehabilitation upon release.Location: On-SiteShift: 8:00am - 12:00pmPart Time: 8-20 hours per weekResponsibilities:Psychiatric EvaluationsMedications Management for adultsParticipate in regulated supervisionConsult with StaffRequires a certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant and experience working with the population supported. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and direction.Education and/or Experience:Must be licensed Psychiatric NurseMust be certified at the national level by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse PractitionerBe familiar with standards of practice for position and regulationsPreferred 3 years experience working in behavioral health care.Required trainingValid driver’s license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
