Bloomington Meadows Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and care planning for mental health and substance use disorders.

The role requires an Indiana RN license and an Indiana NP license with a Master's in Nursing; two years of psychiatric/mental health experience; collaborative work within a hospital team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• Licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and care planning for mental health and substance use issues.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments as appropriate.
• May perform Utilization Review calls on behalf of physicians and support partial hospitalization programming.
