We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to help our growing group practice in the Northern Michigan region. Grayling, Michigan, is a good central location.

Role Overview

• Schedule: 4 days a week, Monday through Friday
• Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in short-term units
• Complete documentation at home using a provided iPad or laptop within 48 hours of patient encounters

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate with facility staff to improve patient care
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health needs
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation

Requirements

• Valid, full PMHNP license
• Residency in or near Grayling, Michigan
• Active Michigan license
• DEA registration preferred but not required
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory

Compensation
