Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with current Virginia license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for patient engagement and collaboration.
• Ability to conduct assessments, diagnose, and manage medications in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses.
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic and biological treatments including TMS.
• Refer clients to other providers when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan.

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatric Nurse Practioner to join our team! In this role, you will conduct initial assessment and medication management of the patients as well as mapping and delivering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment to selected patients.
Proper training for TMS and supervision will be provided as needed and on regular basis.
Mclean Counseling center is a comprehensive mental health clinic in Mclean, VA offering wide range of theraputoc services as well as Neuropyshological tetsing and TMS treatments. In this position you will be accepting selected insurances under the umbrella of our sister clinic Brainbloom Neurotherapy Center. Our part time position is open for providers who are available to work on the weekends.
