Job summary

Oasis Mental Health Centers Medical LLC in Paramus, NJ is expanding its services to include psychiatric medication management and is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to pilot this new program. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and motivated to grow a evolving service line within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, psychotropic management, and EMR documentation, with opportunities to contribute to program development

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Advanced Practice Nurse with psychiatric certification.
• DEA license with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric medication management strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients undergoing interventinoal psychiatry or requiring medication management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to program development as we expand medication management services.
