Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• One (1) year of experience as an NP or two (2) years as an RN is common in PRN roles.
• Must have and maintain certification by American Nurses Association or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner.

Responsabilités

• Provides mental health services to patients under physician supervision and follows established medical protocols.
• Provides follow-up psychiatric care and medication management to assigned patients.
• Maintains and documents patient medical records accurately and timely.
• Collaborates with supervising physician to formulate and review medical protocols and care.
• Monitors and adjusts medications and orders appropriate laboratory tests as needed.
