Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• National Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CAQ-Psych preferred) or with experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete psychiatric evaluations and documents in the EMR.
• Orders and interprets data and diagnostic procedures as indicated.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in making diagnoses and planning care.
• Formulates plan of care with expected outcomes for acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribes diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions.
• May perform advanced procedures and psychotherapeutic techniques within privileges.
• Maintains CEUs, licensure, certifications, and trainings.
