Job summary

Penn Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Crisis Response Center and related inpatient/consultation teams. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, manage risk, prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications, and coordinate care across CRC, inpatient, detox, and consultation services.

Applicants must hold PA and/or NJ CRNP licensure with prescriptive authority, RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and a Master’s degree in nursing (DNP preferred).

Qualifications

• Current PA and/or NJ CRNP licensure with prescriptive authority.
• RN license and board certification.
• ACLS and BLS/CPR required.
• Master's degree in nursing (MSN, MS, or DNP) or equivalent.
• New to practice considered with CRNP credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform urgent and emergent psychiatric evaluations.
• Assess risk of harm and implement safety interventions.
• Initiate and adjust psychotropic medications and manage detoxification as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and disposition.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EHR entries.
