Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is assisting a Sierra Vista healthcare facility in recruiting a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care for patients across a range of mental health needs.

The PMHNP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, provide medication management, develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Current PMHNP certification
• Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for licensure
• Current DEA registration, as required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and manage a variety of mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, legal, and regulatory requirements
