Meridian Counseling is a new and growing group practice dedicated to integrating mental health into everyday health and wellness routines, serving the Westside of Los Angeles.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The role includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, patient education, and collaboration with the care team, offering flexible scheduling while maintaining high standards of client care.

Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans aligned with client needs. Provide medication management and emotional support.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, prescriptions, and lab results using Meridian’s EHR system.
  • Supervision & Professional Development: Participate in optional consultations and professional development opportunities with the clinical team.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate care with therapists, staff, and leadership to ensure integrated treatment; engage in timely communication with patients and team members.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Manage a self-directed weekly schedule; position available full-time or part-time, as employee or contractor.
  • Administrative Support: Focus on patient care and documentation while Meridian handles billing, credentialing, and client acquisition.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in Nursing and certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Licensure/Registration: Active and unrestricted license in California; 103 NP classification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in psychiatric medication management preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Active DEA registration; Buprenorphine Waiver.

Salary
