A leading healthcare provider is expanding its team of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners across multiple states, including Pennsylvania. The role offers flexible scheduling, supportive environment, and competitive salary. Candidates will provide essential psychiatric care with minimal administrative duties and opportunities for professional growth.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are actively recruiting multiple new additions to our outstanding team for PT, Per Diem, and possibly FT opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for initial and follow-up Psychiatric consults in select assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
Daily patient encounters will be approximately 11 to 16, depending on the mix of initial vs. follow-up services. Only light clinical documentation is required—initial and follow-up progress notes. There is minimal bureaucracy: no H&P’s, discharge summaries, treatment plans, team meetings, or rounds. We use streamlined, one-page note templates for efficiency.
All clinicians perform the same duties, with refined processes for efficiency and a pleasant workflow. No hospital services, admissions, discharges, or extensive administrative responsibilities beyond clinical documentation and billing.
Participation in our telephone-based on-call schedule involves about 1 weeknight per week and less than one weekend per month, via phone only. Call is infrequent; during most shifts, there are zero calls.
The work schedule is flexible, offering autonomy and independence, with support available from our psychiatrists and colleagues.
Experience prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications is strongly preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. PMHNP certification is required in Pennsylvania, and preferred in NJ (Family & Geriatric NP acceptable in NJ).
Competitive salary starting from $130,000 based on experience, with annual increases, productivity bonuses, full health benefits, retirement plan, 4 weeks PTO, 3 CME days with stipends, and holidays off.
