Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure (preferably in Maine, but can be completed during onboarding).
• Proven experience in managing diverse patient populations is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing management of psychiatric medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Navigate the required health insurance documentation.
